The North train keeps marching on, and last week it was on the back of a monster fantasy outing by Nick Dal Santo.

The star midfielder amassed a game-high 141 points in the win over Geelong, and was crucial right throughout the game. His excellent vision and skills brought his teammates into the action, and we expect that trend to continue against the Swans.

Eligible in AFL Fantasy Match Day as a defender, Dal Santo is someone who should be strongly considered. Also, keep an eye on Sam Gibson – the hard-running midfielder took the semi-final by the scruff of the neck last week, finishing the game with 35 disposals and 132 points.

After being cleared by the Tribunal earlier this week, Brent Harvey will look to extend his impressive run of form. Coming off an 88-point outing, his eligibility as a midfielder and forward makes him valuable in the Match Day format again tonight.

Todd Goldstein dominated the ruck against Geelong, with 25 hitouts in the first quarter and 130 fantasy points for the game. He’ll take on Mike Pyke tonight, and the big Roo is again the best option in fantasy at the ruck position.

Ben Jacobs has replaced the injured Jamie Macmillan, and while the youngster will be excited about taking his place in the team, there are better options this week for your fantasy lineup.

Last time these teams played, Ben Cunnington top scored with 127, while Daniel Wells, Dal Santo, Gibson and Leigh Adams all managed 100+ points. With the exception of Adams, who misses through injury, the rest of this group could be worth a look to repeat their early-season heroics.

ET: Around the grounds

Luke Parker is in career-best form, while Port Adelaide was irresistible in the second half against Fremantle. Expect the likes of Robbie Gray, Chad Wingard and Hamish Hartlett to again be among the top fantasy scorers this weekend. If you’re looking for a lesser-known player for your team then consider Hawthorn midfielder Liam Shiels. He scored 124 fantasy points in the Qualifying Final win over Geelong, and could offer a great point of difference.
