Thomas' contact with Reid was judged to be primarily with shoulder to the body, with a clash of heads occuring as part of the collision.
Therefore, as per Tribunal guidelines, the MRP has decided said contact to head was caused by circumstances outside the control of Thomas, which couldn't be reasonably foreseen.
Thomas is now available to play on Sunday against Geelong as North seek its first win of the season.
