Despite a 54-point loss, Higgins was a standout through the midfield, with 36 disposals, 5 tackles and 4 clearances.
Tigers' players dominated the voting, with Derek Eggmolesse-Smith earning best-on-ground honours.
Higgins moves to eight votes for the season, with Todd Goldstein still among the league's top ten, with 24.
