In 2010 the Northerners had a breakout year with record membership numbers enabling it to contribute more than $200,000 to the club.
The Northerners will continue to grow in 2011 and provide greater offerings to its members with a commitment to offer the club another significant financial return.
"In 2011 we have the biggest range of packages available with 18 standard offerings since our establishment in 1967. This will enable us to offer even more to our members with the additional flexibility of being able to tailor a package to suit any individual requirements,” Northerners’ President Caroline Carnegie said.
“The Northerners’ experience includes significant match day entertainment including player appearances and interviews, club officials and a range of other interesting guests that add their touch of colour to the day. Over the past two years, the Northerners has welcomed high profile personalities including Prime Minister Julia Gillard, then Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon, renowned comedian Yianni, cricket legend Max Walker, Australian film director Simon Wincer and AFL great Ron Barassi. On top of this, North Melbourne Chairman James Brayshaw and CEO Eugene Arocca regularly visit our functions to update our members on club issues".
For the first time in 2011 the Northerners will run the ‘N2-Hub’ which is aimed at being a unique, casual and relaxed ‘members only’ environment for nominated games to supplement official hospitality functions. In addition to game-day hospitality, there are also sponsorship packages available to promote and expand businesses to a target market of other business people.
