It's been an exciting fortnight for Werribee after two wins against teams in the top six. The run looks to have turned the Tigers' season around, but if ever there was a more defining week, this looks like it.

The North Melbourne affiliate will take on the second-placed Williamstown and after a thrilling last gasp win against Casey last week, the Seagulls are certain to come out firing again.

Werribee currently sits 11th on the table, but the evenness of the competition means a big win could put them within a game of the top four, poor percentage though could cost the club later in the season.

Williamstown boasts a strong core of Western Bulldogs' AFL listed players including Skipper, Addison, Everitt and White. These players will all need to be stopped if Werribee is to cause an upset.

The Tigers will look for a spark from first year Kangaroo Sam Wright. The 18 year-old had a disappointing match last week in his return from a knee injury and will be desperate to regain the form that saw him play four games at AFL level a month ago.

In the middle, Leigh Adams will be out to continue his surge towards senior selection. Adams has been in the best in both of Werribee's wins in the past two weeks, and while he hasn't played for the Kangaroos since 2007, he looks a viable option for Darren Crocker before the season is out.

Matt Riggio and Levi Greenwood will provide assistance for Adams through the midfield. Riggio's defensive pressure in recent weeks has been a highlight and he had arguably his best game of the season last week. While Greenwood has been solid, he’ll need to get more of the footy against the Seagulls if he is to come into senior contention.

Ruckmen Todd Goldstein has also been named in the Werribee lineup, but looks set to play his sixth game of the season for the Kangaroos after being selected in the squad for Sunday's match against the Swans. The same goes forDaniel Harris, who looks to have gotten back in favour with the North Melbourne match committee in recent weeks.

Up forward Nathan Thompson and Marty Pask have been a lethal combination, while rookie Ben Speight continues to improve and will be right at the feet of the big forwards throughout the day.
