After an impressive win against the Bulldogs, it could be an interesting week at the selection table for North Melbourne.

While the Roos’ VFL side fell short, the good form of several players keeps the options open at match committee.

North Media looks at those in the mix for selection.

Defenders

Sam Durdin was a solid performer in his one AFL outing this year in Round 8, but might find it tough to break in given Richmond’s raft of smaller-type forwards.

Fellow key defender Ben McKay also returned from injury, playing at both ends of the ground in the VFL on Saturday night.

Midfielders

Paul Ahern faces a test later in week due to some minor knee soreness, but is sure to be right in the mix based off his VFL form.

Likewise Aaron Hall, who was one of the Roos’ best with 30 disposals and 9 tackles last week.

Bailey Scott edges closer to an AFL return, following a bout of concussion.

Big man Tom Campbell has been dominant for North VFL, and is coming off an outstanding performance, recording 22 disposals and 52 hit-outs.

Forwards

Another opportunity beckons for Curtis Taylor, who has been a standout at VFL level all season.

Nathan Hrovat has been doing everything right at the lower level, kicking a game-high two goals and collecting 23 disposals in his latest outing.

Omitted last week, Taylor Garner will also put his hand up for a recall.
