Roosters welcome back Lower
North Ballarat will welcome back the services of Kangaroo Ed Lower this week after the attacking midfielder was omitted from the North Melbourne line-up.
Lower should prove a strong acquisition for the Roosters, coming off 19 possessions against Port Adelaide and 18 against Geelong.
While the Roosters will be happy to have Lower back for the first time this season, they'll also look to the in form Cruize Garlett to provide a spark through the midfield.
Garlett has been in great form and is keen to push for promotion to the North Melbourne senior list.
Forward Corey Jones will also be looking to continue his recent run. After being omitted from the senior side in round 4, Jones has been in the best for North Ballarat in its past four games.
The 28 year-old has kicked nine goals and averaged over 20 possessions a match, but could find it much tougher against a Scorpions outfit boasting a host of Melbourne listed players including Lynden Dunn, Ricky Petterd and Clint Bartram.
Having not played for North Melbourne since Round 4, Josh Smith has kicked 11 goals in the past four games and will need to kick many more if he's to break back into the line-up. His spot is currently occupied by Warren and Edwards.
The Roosters will also look to experienced defender Shannon Watt, as well as youngsters Warren Benjamin, Michael Wundke and Marcus White for their clash against Casey on Sunday.
