Luke McDonald has gone from strength-to-strength in 2020, and the 25-year-old's career-best game hasn't been missed by the coaches.

Rhyce Shaw and Matthew Nicks both gave the running defender the top votes in North Melbourne's win over Adelaide, after he racked up 35 disposals.

McDonald pulled down 8 marks and registered a team-high 505 metres gained in an impressive display.
