The first LeasePlan 'Carn the Kids' event for 2012 was held at Etihad Stadium during Sunday's clash between North Melbourne and the Bulldogs.

300 children and their carers attended the match from foundations including the Royal Children’s Hospital, Camp Quality, Mirabel, MacKillop, Variety and the CREATE Foundation.

LeasePlan and North Melbourne will team up for a further three matches during the 2012 season, allowing children who mightn't already have the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of live football.

Kangaroos' players Aaron Mullett and Gavin Urquhart made a special appearance at the dedicated Carn the Kids marquee on the weekend, along with mascot Wheelie and Camp Quality's puppets. The players were happy to pose for photos and sign autographs for the excited kids and handed out showbags packed with goodies.

Then it was on to the game as the children made their way into Etihad Stadium and enjoyed a hot pie, chips and drink while watching the match from prime seats next to the North Melbourne Cheer Squad.

LeasePlan's Carn the Kids has been providing fun days out for children since 2003. This year, Jack Ziebell is North Melbourne’s official Carn the Kids Ambassador.

North Melbourne has partnered with LeasePlan and Carn the Kids for the past four years.
