The North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos will play Collingwood in a do-or-die final on Saturday.

Having finished third, the Magpies will have the hosting rights, with the game to be held at Victoria Park at 3.10pm AEDT.

Collingwood will take confidence from the teams' last hit-out, having beaten the Roos by 20 points in in round four, but North's thrilling victory against Fremantle is sure to hold them in good stead.

Darren Crocker's team won by a point to lock in their finals' spot, with the likes of Ash Riddell, Jas Garner and Emma Kearney all playing starring roles.

North is set to regain star midfielder Jenna Bruton for Saturday's game.

The winner will take on Brisbane for a spot in the Grand Final.
