Melbourne could be without Tegan Cunningham when the Demons host the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos this weekend, with the key forward facing a two-game suspension.

Cunningham was charged with striking Brisbane’s Shannon Campbell last weekend, during the third quarter of the Demons’ win over Brisbane at Hickey Park.

She is set to challenge her ban at the tribunal on Tuesday night.

With Cunningham sidelined, the goal-scoring burden would lie with forward pair Kate Hore and Eden Zanker.

Zanker and North’s Courteney Munn were awarded Rising Star Nominations for their respective performances in Round 3.
