North Melbourne's VFLW side has been bolstered by the return of a pair of AFLW-listed players as the Kangaroos search for their second win of the season.

After Ella Maurer and Britt Gibson returned last week alongside VFLW-listed star Reni Hicks, Lexi Hamilton and Tess Craven have been added to the ranks for this weekend’s clash with Darebin.

Despite two tough results since the Round 5 victory over Williamstown, North has shown strong signs against Essendon and Hawthorn with ruck Liz McGrath putting together a particularly impressive run of form.

This week's opponent Darebin currently sit fourth on the ladder after four consecutive victories. The Falcons are looking to establish some breathing room and strengthen their ladder position at the pointy end of the season.

Former Bulldogs Angelica Gogos and Nicole Callinan have starred for the Falcons so far this year and are undoubtedly the danger pair this weekend.
