No.3 draft pick Harry Sheezel has set the Australian Football world on fire since debuting in Round 1 and now he owns an incredible bit of history.

After recording 37 touches against Carlton in the Good Friday SuperClash, Sheezel now has 127 disposals for the season, the most of any player after four career V/AFL games.

According to AFL statistician @sirswampthing, Sheezel is now clear of Mark Bairstow (121), Greg Williams (116), Michael Barlow (112) and Craig Bradley (111) in the history books.

Despite being drafted as a forward, Sheezel was thrust into the backline in Round 1 and won the nomination for the AFL Rising Star award after 34 disposals in the win over West Coast.

Two days later, the young gun signed a two-year contract extension to remain at Arden Street until at least the end of the 2026 season.

The 18-year-old was also one of the heroes in the epic one-point victory over Fremantle, with his toe-poke on the goal line saving a certain behind which would have levelled the scores with just 30 seconds remaining.
