Legendary North Melbourne premiership coach Denis Pagan will return to deliver an inspiring speech to the current Kangaroos team ahead of Thursday night's Centenary match against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
Pagan, who led North Melbourne to its iconic 1996 and 1999 premierships and holds the esteemed position of coach in the club's Team of the Century, will rev up the players on-field before they take on the Bulldogs.
This special moment will mark the culmination of the club's on-field Centenary celebration.
Pagan was personally invited to deliver the pre-game address by current coach Alastair Clarkson, who was coached by Pagan for three seasons during his playing days at North Melbourne.
During his remarkable tenure, Pagan's Kangaroos were a dominant force, reaching at least the preliminary final every year from 1994 to 2000.
Thursday night promises to be a spectacular tribute to the club's rich history, with over 200 special guests in attendance. Among them, 40 club greats will be present for the pre-match celebration.
