Three North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos are in line for potential debuts after being named in the extended squad for Sunday's Round 2 match against Port Adelaide at Arden St.
Tessa Boyd, Amy Gavin Mangan and Ella Slocombe have all been included in the squad, along with returning Irish star Vikki Wall.
Forward Bella Eddey will miss the game after picking up a shin injury.
Boyd, an experienced VFLW player, earned her place on the Kangaroos' AFLW list as a pre-season supplementary signing, replacing Niamh Martin, who chose to remain in Ireland this season to complete her studies.
Second-year midfielder Slocombe continues to push for a debut after failing to break into a strong Kangaroos' line-up during her first season at the club.
Irish speedster Gavin Mangan was recruited from County Offaly with selection No.43 in the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft.
Wall, who was a mainstay in the Kangaroos' side last year and starred in December's Grand Final, missed the Kangaroos' season opener after returning from Gaelic duties earlier this month.
The Roos will unfurl their 2024 premiership flag before Sunday's 1.05pm opening bounce. Fans are encouraged to be at the ground by 12.30pm to watch the ceremony.
The Kangaroos will finalise their selected team at 5pm on Friday.
