Premiership players Bella Eddey and Emma King will be in the mix for selection as the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos return to Arden St to host Collingwood on Sunday.
Forward Eddey, who kicked a career-high 10 goals last season, has missed the Roos' last two matches with a shin injury.
"Bella was so close to getting up for (Round 3's) Freo game, but we took a conservative approach and gave her the extra week," North Melbourne senior AFLW physiotherapist Billy Williams said.
"We are confident she will be available for selection this weekend."
Experienced ruck King is also in contention for what would be her first game this year, after she suffered a hamstring injury in pre-season.
As confirmed earlier on Tuesday, captain Jas Garner will miss at least the next two weeks with an ankle injury.
Scans cleared Garner of structural damage after she landed awkwardly on her left ankle during Round 3's record 100-point win over Fremantle, Williams said.
"Jas rolled her ankle quite badly during the second quarter on Sunday.
"She had that scanned yesterday and pleasingly she has avoided any worrying structural injury. However as expected with that type of mechanism, there is a high-grade ligament injury to the outside of her ankle.
"We will monitor her improvement but we don't expect it to be a long-term absence from footy."
Veteran Nicole Bresnehan has stepped up her rehab as she moves closer to a return from a serious hamstring injury.
"She is back running and feeling really positive," Williams said.
"This week will see her complete more change-of-direction and conditioning work with the rehab team."
