North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos captain Jasmine Garner is a chance of returning earlier than expected after recovering quickly from the ankle injury she sustained in Round 3.
Garner, who missed the 45-point win over Collingwood, will push to re-join the side for Sunday's Grand Final rematch against Brisbane in Queensland.
"Jas has improved remarkably quickly over the past seven days," North Melbourne senior AFLW physiotherapist Billy Williams said.
"Her swelling and pain has largely resolved and she is already back running.
"We'll continue to monitor her progress and look to make a call on her availability later this week."
Defender Tessa Boyd was a late withdrawal from Sunday's clash with the Magpies due to back spasms, and won't be a part of the squad that heads to Brighton Homes Arena this weekend.
"Tessa still has quite a bit of restriction ... but we'll monitor her symptoms to see if she can do some training later this week," Williams said.
Fellow defender Nicole Bresnehan continues to progress well with her hamstring rehab and is tracking towards a return in 2-3 weeks.
"She has some clinical testing to tick off this week and we'll look to get her increasing her sprinting speeds," Williams said.
"We will see her do some controlled training with the squad this week and build that out over the next fortnight."
