The disappointment of the loss against the Swans didn’t dampen the spirits of hundreds of junior joeys in Hobart on Sunday.

All the players who took the field a day earlier were on hand for the Kanga’s Kids’ Club clinic at Blundstone Arena.

"It's nice to see the kids here, they're having a good time and they are running around having a kick, so it definitely cheers you up,” North skipper Andrew Swallow said.

“We've had nearly 500 kids here in the morning after the game; it's a great turn-out and shows the people of Hobart really love their footy.”

The Kangaroos’ stars shared advice with the up-and-coming footballers, and answered all the pressing questions from their loyal fans.

"It's great to see that we can bring a bit of a smile to their face and it's nice to see that they still love us even though we didn't get the result,” Swallow added.

"They've (the fans) been great support. The facility's great, the ground's really good to play on so we really enjoy coming down.

“We've got a game in three weeks game against Port (Adelaide), we are looking forward to coming back and hopefully getting the result."
