Aidan Corr has suffered a moderate-grade calf strain, which will push back his preparation for the club’s practice games against Melbourne and Collingwood.
It'll be a 4–6-week setback for the veteran defender, who managed 10 games at the highest level in the 2025 season.
"We'll program a more graduated return to group training for Aidan given both the grade of strain and his history of calf injuries," North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said.
Off-season recruit Charlie Spargo (shoulder) continues to build through drills in a non-contact capacity until he can clear strength and function tests.
The small forward will look to return to unrestricted training sessions towards the end of February.
Ruck-forward Callum Coleman-Jones is battling a minor calf strain which he picked up during a high-loading conditioning session over the Christmas break.
"Callum's recovered well and is progressing through his running reload phase since returning to the club," White said.
"The plan is to build out his football function and running intensity over the next 1-2 weeks and then reintegrate into main group skills again."
As reported earlier this week, Jackson Archer will miss the 2026 season due to an ACL injury suffered during training last Saturday.
"He is booked in for surgery in two weeks once there has been adequate time for swelling to subside to aid a better outcome with healing post-procedure," White said.
"The club will wrap its arms around Jackson and provide a strong base of support through this injury."
