North Melbourne has made two changes for Saturday's sold-out Gather Round match against reigning premiers Brisbane in the Barossa Valley.

As revealed earlier on Thursday, former Demon Charlie Spargo will make his club debut for the Kangaroos.

A free agency recruit, Spargo follows in the footsteps of his father Paul, who played 81 games for the Roos from 1985-92.

Key defender Griffin Logue also comes into the side to face the Lions for what will be his milestone 100th AFL game.

Logue returns after overcoming a hamstring injury suffered in the opening minutes of Round 2's loss to West Coast in Perth.

Toby Pink has been omitted this week, while Finn O'Sullivan is expected to miss approximately two weeks after fracturing his jaw in Good Friday's win over Carlton, senior coach Alastair Clarkson said on Thursday.

O'Sullivan underwent minor surgery on the jaw late on Tuesday.

Cooper Trembath, who earned the Round 4 Telstra AFL Rising Star nomination for his three goals on Good Friday, will line up at half-forward for the Roos. 

Pink, Wil Dawson and Jacob Konstanty are this week's emergencies.

The match at Barossa Park begins at 12.05pm local time (12.35pm AEST).
