Young gun Finn O’Sullivan will be available for selection as North Melbourne prepares to face Greater Western Sydney in Canberra on Sunday, having recovered from a fractured jaw.

The No.2 has been sidelined since North Melbourne’s Good Friday SuperClash win over Carlton, missing the club’s games against Brisbane and Richmond.

"Finn will drop into full contact training and programming this week," North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said on Tuesday.

"He put in a high-loading football conditioning session after main training last Friday to set himself up well for his return."

Robert Hansen jnr will miss at least another weekend of action due to a groin complaint, while Luke Urquhart continues to battle a persistent knee issue.

"Over the weekend, Robbie had a good football session but is still lacking high-end explosiveness and confidence at higher intensity movements," White said.

"Luke has been progressing his loading but has struggled to train with high-level intensity and acceleration in drills over the past couple of weeks."

"We’ll look to adjust some of his programming over the next week to assess if this produces a positive result and enables him to regain his agility and acceleration.

"We want to then see Luke have multiple, strong main group sessions before being available to play."
