Draftee Lachy Dovaston will be in the frame for an AFL recall ahead of Round 11's match against Gold Coast, while defender Riley Hardeman could be brought in for his first senior game of the 2026 season.
Dovaston was impressive in Saturday's VFL defeat to Port Melbourne at ETU Stadium, kicking two goals from 13 touches.
The forward setup up Matt Whitlock for North Melbourne's first goal of the game, and snagged his first off the back of some neat work that saw him pounce on a Borough turnover before winning a free kick for holding the man.
Whitlock was also a strong presence in attack, finishing Saturday with another two-goal performance.
Hardeman was the carryover emergency for North Melbourne's Round 10 trip to Adelaide and could be brought in for this weekend's Sir Doug Nicholls Round bout with the Suns at Marvel Stadium.
Fellow defender Cooper Harvey ensured he will be in the mix again after 23 disposals and 10 intercepts against Port Melbourne.
Ruck/forward Callum Coleman-Jones was also one of the Roos' better contributors in the VFL. He earned 26 hitouts, 19 possessions (15 contested), six clearances and two contested marks.
Hugo Mikunda and Bailey Scott grabbed 18 and 17 touches respectively, with Scott also laying seven tackles.
Brayden George kicked three second-quarter goals from limited opportunities to push his selection case.
On the injury front, Robert Hansen jnr (groin), Zac Fisher (hamstring), and Josh Goater (calf) will all face fitness tests later this week.
