Young Roos Finn O’Sullivan and Riley Hardeman could both be available for North Melbourne’s Round 15 match against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.

The pair have been in AFL-mandated concussion protocols, with O’Sullivan missing both home games in Western Australia after a training knock, and Hardeman leaving the field prematurely during the club’s Round 13 clash with Fremantle.

North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White said O'Sullivan and Hardeman have recovered well.

"Finn has now put in a couple of decent footy conditioning sessions across the latest week at the club," White said.

"He will build through non-contact training with the group on Wednesday and be in unrestricted, full-contact training on Friday to be available to play this week.

"Riley has progressed through the protocols seamlessly to date.

"He'll also build through non-contact training with the group on Wednesday."

Onballer Tom Powell is aiming to rejoin the main group on Friday and take on a high-loading session over the weekend as he continues his road to recovery from a groin injury.

"Tom has been progressing well with each session, undertaking more challenging football function, acceleration and agility exercises." White said.

Youngster Luke Urquhart will continue to be monitored closely over the next two weeks as he looks to push the intensity in his knee rehab program, White said.
