North Melbourne’s most prized possessions are headed to Tasmania as the club continues its 150th anniversary celebrations.

The Kangaroos’ four premiership cups will be taken on a tour of the state to mark the significant contribution Tasmania has made to the game and club.

Giving back to grassroots and the community, the trip will combine visits to regional and metropolitan schools, local sporting clubs and businesses, as well as iconic Tasmanian landmarks in Devonport, Burnie, Launceston and Hobart.

The tour will also raise much needed funds for ‘Give Me 5 for Kids’; a local charity supporting sick kids and their families in times of need.

To celebrate the tour, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to win a $1,200 Spirit of Tasmania voucher, two tickets to the Syd Barker Club Champion Dinner and one night’s accommodation in Melbourne.

Presented by Spirit of Tasmania, the 150 Year Anniversary Tasmania Tour sets sail on Tuesday, August 20, with a Sports Night Meet & Greet on the ship with club legends and the cups on display.

The journey will end at Blundstone Arena for the Round 23 match against Melbourne, where the cups will be presented on-field.

Keep an eye on club socials to follow the tour.
