Newly appointed North Melbourne VFLW senior coach, Marcus Abney-Hastings, has advised the club he will pursue an alternative opportunity within the AFLW.

“It’s a disappointing result but we wish Marcus all the best for the next chapter,” North AFLW operations manager Nathan Hrovat said.

“We’ve already started the search for his replacement which we will announce in due course.”
