With the 20th overall pick of the 2023 AFL Draft, the Roos snapped up the towering 207cm Goad from South Australia.
Despite being a talented basketballer, Goad made the decision to pursue football in late 2022.
Across his first two seasons at the club, he’s been gaining experience in the middle of the park as the VFL team’s primary tall, while also having been used as a key defender at times.
