Defender Riley Hardeman will miss Sunday's clash with Richmond at Ninja Stadium after suffering a concussion against Greater Western Sydney in Round 22.
Hardeman was subbed out and replaced by substitute Bailey Scott following the first-quarter head blow.
"Initially, he was quite symptomatic but is settling well," North Melbourne head physiotherapist Brenton Egglestone said.
"He has entered the AFL concussion protocol which means he'll miss this week but will aim to return next week pending his progress."
Captain Jy Simpkin is a chance to return from a knee injury for Sunday's game in Hobart, after missing the past two clashes.
The No.12's discomfort settled over the weekend and he will look to reintegrate into team training this week ahead of selection.
Experienced defender Aidan Corr is expected to make his comeback from a calf injury this week.
Corr is on track to play in the VFL side's final game of the season on modified minutes.
"Aidan has progressed well through the end stages of his calf rehab, completing high-level football conditioning and skills," Egglestone said.
Small forward Zac Banch remains under an injury cloud but will push for selection after missing the club's Round 22 match with the Giants due to a rib complaint.
Utility Eddie Ford is also a test ahead of this weekend after experiencing hamstring soreness, while Callum Coleman-Jones (calf) could make an appearance in the AFL side's last home and away game of the campaign.
"Eddie is feeling really good and completed some high-level conditioning and rehab work over the last week," Egglestone said.
"He is integrating into team training this week and has a final few boxes to tick off in order to make himself available for a return for this weekend.
"Callum is progressing his running volume this week and will plan to integrate into team training next week."
As confirmed last week, spearhead Nick Larkey has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign due to a PCL injury.
"Nick is feeling comfortable with his knee while still in the brace to maximise the healing of his ligament injury," Egglestone said.
"He will be in the brace for another 2-3 weeks before recommencing a running block with the aim for him to have an uninterrupted pre-season."
Josh Goater and Zac Fisher, who are both dealing with calf injuries, will also take no further part in the 2025 season.
