A classy and capable ball-winner, Ballardong man Garlett played 32 games in four seasons at North Melbourne.
He played his early football for Railways in Northam, Western Australia, before moving to WAFL team Perth.
He was rookie-listed by the Kangaroos in 2008 and was part of North Ballarat's premiership winning side at VFL level, impressing in the Grand Final.
