Taken with the club's first-ever No.1 overall national draft selection in 2021, Horne-Francis arrived at the Arden Street as a highly anticipated prospect.
Recruited from South Adelaide in the SANFL, the Wardaman man made his league debut aged just 17. He showed his wares in his debut year, demonstrating his ability to change a game with his tough contest work, speed and ability to hit the scoreboard.
After claiming North Melbourne's Best Young Player Award that season, he submitted a trade request, and departed to join Port Adelaide the following year.
